My heart is growing up. Last night I cut her hair for the first time in her four and a half years on Earth. It was forever in her face. Knotted and unruly. Rapunzel and Tangled common nicknames. I thought maybe bangs would flatter her. Off we went to the bathroom. Ten minutes later I was staring at a much more grown up girl. Her beauty surpasses anything I have ever seen. Being biased is a privelage when it comes to your own daughter.
