Sometimes Love Is Blurry

Some days you can't see the light at the end of the parenting tunnel. When the floors are a wreck and the kitchen is a wreck the laundry is a wreck the kids rooms are a wreck and you feel like your life is about to turn into a full blown rubbernecking wreck.

When you second guess every word out of your mouth, every move you make, every decision that will affect the rest of your children's lives. But hugs cure all. Unkind words can be undone. Decisions are easier in the light of day.

It's a good thing those days are a bit blurry.

Our memory is a forgiving thing. Otherwise none of us would have more than one child.
