Missing Her

It's hard to wrap your mind around the loss of a loved one at any time.

It's especially hard to feel sorry for yourself when twenty families will be spending Christmas without their children.

I swore I wouldn't mention the tragedy anywhere online. I wouldn't mention it because that just adds to the chatter.

But I lost my grandma last Friday night. I am so so sad. I am so tired. She was one of my best friends.

The url to this website is Darling Companion instead of Sugar Britches. Two different pet names with a lot of significance. She called me both of those when I was a child.

I wrote this post a few years ago about her and my mother. It really is all I can say.

  1. A simple I'm sorry does not convey my feelings. She was a remarkable lady and will be missed by many.

    Love & prayers

  2. I am so very sorry girl. I will for sure keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I could not imagine losing my grandma she means the world to me. Much much love to you!

  3. I was so sorry to hear this. I really hope our impromptu dinner helped you cheer up. I can't imagine how you feel so I don't really know what the right thing is to say. Still thinking about you <3

Now play nice and for every comment you leave, I'll buy you a pony.
