Good Stuff

Once again my husband decided we needed a garden. I'm afraid to say that this year it kind of got out of hand. In an effort to do something, anything with all this excess produce I decided to make pasta sauce. We eat a lot of it during the year and since we follow a Feingold way of eating the only canned variety we carry in our store that we can use at home is Hunt's Traditional. It's fine really, but kind of bland. So when I saw this recipe recommended by another blogger, I jumped on it. I remember reading Catherine's blog about her kids Ben and Birdy a long time ago. It was probably one of the first I ever read. I was delighted to find her Dalai Mama Dishes blog. If you have excess tomatoes, make this sauce now!

  1. I'm bookmarking. Ours just started producing and haven't ripened fully so I'm sure in a week or two we'll have them out the ass. Are you canning this or freezing?

  2. Freezing it in individual portions for pasta or pizza. You will love it! I put fresh basil and rosemary and oregano on mine before putting it in the oven.
