The Rain Can Go Away Now

Everything is just icky.

It's been raining since yesterday. It's going to rain until the day after tomorrow. If we're lucky. All this rain....I love it. But...are we ever going to have another soccer game? Am I ever going to get to walk/jog outside again?

And speaking of that annoying little walk/jog I keep throwing in there, I'd like a moment to explain. I'd love to say I'm going out for a run, but folks that's just not true. And I can't say I'm taking a walk cause that's just not true either. I'm not a real runner, even though I've got real running shoes and a real running stroller. But I don't just walk. So...I could say I'm C25K'ing, but that wouldn't make much sense to any of you. Whatever. I walk/jog like a badass three days a week and while I really pushed myself yesterday and can feel it today, I'm afraid the weather is going to ruin my morning walk/jog plans.

Oh yeah and I think I'm getting sick. I've been sucking on Halls Defense Vitamin C drops like they're bonbons and drinking about a gallon of water. I can't get sick. I have too much to do. Too much to live for! Plus I'm a big ole baby when I'm sick and if I'm the baby, who's going to take care of the actual babies?

I also can't seem to tear myself away from the Internetz, even though I've exhausted all my usual sites and blogs. I should be reading a book I got for review, and I did start it, and it is funny, but I'm just distracted.

Oh look....something shiny!

  1. It's raining here too and although I LOVE the rain...I do not love it when I have to sit outside and watch a football game tonight.

  3. Oh what's the book? I love books that make me laugh out loud. I dont know too many authors that write books like that. I especially like the ones that are about women and their everyday lives-like Anna Maxted-she cracks me up.

  4. We've got a few spurts of rain- and even a few moments of hail!- over the last couple of days... but always balanced with equal bouts of windy sunshine- which is nice. :)

  6. We have snow here. I think it is going to be a long, cold, snowy winter. It's only October 10th for goodness sake!
