About Me...

Here it is folks. Post number three hundred.

So for my three hundredth post I thought I would share a few little known Ashley facts with you. I'm not really all that fascinating but normally when someone reaches one hundred posts they do a one hundred things about them. I didn't do that at one hundred or two hundred. Now don't go worrying your pretty little head, I'm not going to bore you with one hundred details all about me. Just a few.....so here we go.

  • I hate overhead lighting. Especially fluorescent.
  • Vanilla is my favorite smell.
  • Coconut is my second favorite smell.
  • I used to show horses. Western Pleasure to be specific.
  • I could eat steak everyday and never tire of it.
  • I like my steak rare.
  • I don't like driving over bridges.
  • British/Irish/Scottish accents make me hot.
  • I want to move to Canada when I retire.
  • Australian Shepherds are my favorite breed of dog.
  • Bernese Mountain Dogs are my favorite breed of dog I could never afford.
  • I have three children.
  • I never even planned on having one child.
  • My favorite music is 90's grunge/garage band. Nirvana, STP, Soundgarden, Sublime.
  • I grew up listening to Bob Seger, John Cougar Mellencamp, Bonnie Raitt, and Delbert McClinton.
  • I love all shades of blue and grey.
  • My mother, grandmother, daughter, and I all share the same middle name.
  • I hate it when someone says "soda pop".
  • My school class once went to my family's farm for their annual field trip. It was a bit of a zoo.
  • I grew up with: ostriches, llamas, emus, miniature donkeys, guinea pigs, dogs, cats, horses, cows, lovebirds, an African grey, and a macaw.
  • I live in a town of less than 400.
  • My husband's family owns a grocery store.
  • I hate dieting.
  • I love cheesecake.
  • I think the Beatles were the most important and influential band ever.
  • I got married in Vegas (the second time).
  • Red wine is my friend.
  • I recently started exercising and actually like it.
  • I have huge boobs (sorry, its true).
  • The person I would most like to meet is Bill Clinton.
  • Followed only by Scott Weiland.
  • And Hunter S. Thompson.
  • I'm scared my daughter will be just like me.
  • I love to read.
  • I hate to clean.
  • Blogging is an addiction.
  • So is coffee.
  • I'm 26 years old and actually looking forward to 30.
  • I've met George Strait and Kenny Chesney.
  • My husband is my best friend.
  • My mom is my other best friend.
  • My grandma is my other other best friend.
  • I think all you readers are great!!!!

  1. Wow! Congratulations on your 300th post. It will be quite some time before I reach that milestone (I only started in February). Interesting facts about you...I don't like driving over bridges either, love to read, hate to clean, and used to have big boobs (hated it). For my 50th b-day, I had reduction surgery. Best thing I ever did for myself. :-)

    I'm amazed: my list could be *identical* except for getting married in Vegas, turning 30, and liking to exercise. And the one about the Llamas and the macaw (though if you knew my family, well, it might be six of one, half dozen etc etc).

    ...and of course I'd need to swap out Weiland for Spock. The old one, but when he was young.

    That was really fun reading all that about you; can't wait for 400!
