See What Happens When I Don't Spend Money Immediately?

Went to today to finalize the first half of my Christmas order. When I pulled up my shopping cart I had three messages:

The Fisher Price Sing Along Stage has decreased in price from $45.47 to $39.75. Whoopee!

The Leapster Tag Reading System Carrying Case has decreased in price from $15.99 to $14.99. Whoopee again!

The Tonka Bounce Back Racer is no longer available from the seller you chose, please click here to see if it is available from another seller. Damn.

So I clicked. Want to know what happened? Supply and demand happened. The toy that I had planned on purchasing for Cashman and is listed in all magazines and on the Internet as approximately $35 is now being sold for upwards of $60 on Amazon.

What the hell?!?!?!?

Now I'm off to scour the rest of the web for the obviously hottest toy for the preschool set in hopes of finding some seller that isn't asking for my firstborn. Damn that Jon & Kate.

  1. bent wanted that too, who knew the bigger they got the more they cost. he also wants every thomas the tank engine toy ever made and the other day showed me his shopping cart on a thomas online toy store...yeah 3000$ i didn't even know he was adding stuff to a cart. glad he doesn't know how to use the credit card yet or we may be in trouble. try ebay for the car, you can get them brand new sometimes cheaper. walmart also has it for like 34.99 or something

Now play nice and for every comment you leave, I'll buy you a pony.
