Damn.

You know how they say, most accidents happen less than five miles from home?

So. true.

The hubby had not been gone for five minutes this morning when he called home. He lost control of his Jeep on the first icy bridge and flipped it. And I don't mean it just rolled on its side. It is top down in a big ditch. Crushed. If the back glass had not have fallen out, he would still be in it.

I wish I would have had the foresight to grab my camera as I was frantically running out the door with the kids in tow.

He is okay. That is all that matters.

New car for Christmas. Yipee.

  5. Thank Heavens he's all right after an accident like that! We've been driving on a lot of icy roads this month and every time we do, I think of too many 'what ifs'. It's scary what can happen in the blink of an eye...

    Anyhow...
I'm glad you all had Christmas together, safe and sound!
