October 3rd

Cashman...yesterday you turned 4. I can't even begin to wrap my mind around that. I know it's cliche', but it must be said that time has flown.

I predict that 4 will be a very good year for you. You're in school now and after a bit of a rough start, you seem to have settled in. You always look forward to going in the mornings, and in the drop off line you delight the car door opener ladies with your exclamation of, "I'm here!"

In fact you are quite the charmer. Your gorgeous blue eyes and infectious smile light up a room. You are my cuddlebug, and our conversations are peppered with frequent I love yous. You always bring me flowers and that always makes me smile. Even when the flower in question is a blade of grass.

I love that you are a full fledged pre-schooler now. No longer a toddler and no longer in that in between stage. You love showing me the drawings you did at school and explaining the various stains on your shirt. "This is chocolate milk, this is ketchup, and this is marker!"

You are so special and I am so proud of what a fun little boy you are. Happy Birthday and I Love You!

Love,
Mom
