Wordless Wednesday: River Cures

My husband insists that the cure for what ails ya is a dip in the healing waters of our favorite river. It's name so sacred I'm not even allowed to type it. But for you insistent types, it is an Indian word meaning "skullcrusher".
Sounds relaxing, eh?

  2. We have a holy well near us named for Saint Patrick but it dates back to pagan times: it's amazing and is said to cure. My ankle was cured by a holy well several years back. Keep letting those kids swim, who knows?

  3. Miss D- You'll get your chance. Come to ours before the summer is over.

Susan- That sounds so cool! I plan on it. My husband wouldn't have it any other way.

  4. Looks absolutely lovely and relaxing in this picture, but skullcrusher doesn't evoke peaceful images!
